“Gosselin took the stress out of a complex, international move”

Despite the biggest challenge being deciding what to move and what not to move, Fernando and Jennifer were happy to have Gosselin by their side during their move from Washington DC to Florence. Every situation is unique and trying to understand all of the specific requirements was made easier with the assistance of experienced Move consultant Andrea Cardelli.

“Florence is a welcoming city that is home to people from all corners of the world. When our circumstances allowed us to make a major move such as this one, Florence was easily the first city that came to mind,” Fernando says. After some intense downsizing and deciding what to keep and what not to keep, there was the stress of trying to organize the move itself. Luckily, that’s when they found Gosselin.

The move itself was done via aircargo and had some delicate items that required custom crating, but all went smoothly. Country Manager, Barbara Savelli, recommends starting early so you don’t find yourself rushing to meet deadlines and keep a clear overview. “Trying to understand all of the specific requirements that our situation required was made 100 times easier with the assistance of a specialist from Gosselin who had the knowledge and experience to answer our questions accurately,” Fernando agrees.

In accordance with the bad weather outside, Sara experienced a whirlwind of exercises, different topics, and networking opportunities.

Bigger, better, more efficient the new facility in Brendola is a success!

After a long and extensive process of finding a new location, Gosselin Italy in Vicenza has finalized a purchase agreement that all parties involved agreed on. Now they can conclude their move to a bigger facility in Brendola. They also expanded their services by taking over all port handling from a third party and doing their own custom declarations in their new warehouse with bonded area.
