A visit from the Belgian Ambassador

“Our business in Azerbaijan has experienced healthy growth in recent years,” says John Braeckeveldt, responsible for Gosselin Mobility’s activities in the Caucasus region. “The Gosselin moving team naturally grew right along with it. We recently recruited two new employees in the capital of Baku, Ahmed and Sevda. Ahmed Iskenderov was initially a mover; he indicated his desire to move forward in his career, and is now a move coordinator. Sevda Mardaliyeva is our new financial manager. The Gosselin team in Azerbaijan currently numbers 15 employees.”

“On January 24th, the Belgian ambassador Bert Schoofs paid us a visit,” John continues. “Bert is the ambassador for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkmenistan. We gave him a tour of our new offices and warehouses, and he was impressed by our professional approach. He was on a visit to see the Belgian companies with offices here in Baku to boost morale.”

“There are still too few people who realize that Gosselin has extraordinarily good geographic distribution in the Caucasus and Central Asia. Gosselin is very well-represented in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrghyzstan. We also have an excellent reputation with businesses and embassies here. High time to spotlight this even more!”

Gosselin Belgium receives FIDI Top Performer status

After the Italian and UK office receiving the FAIM 22 Top Performer status, it was Belgium’s turn for a FIDI audit. With Belgium not only having multiple offices in Deurne and Vilvoorde, but also their own warehouses and rolling stock, the audit was extensive but successful nevertheless.
International work experience

An international work experience

With Gosselin offices all over Europe, it’s almost impossible to know everybody. However, an international working experience can be the perfect way to get acquainted with colleagues from different countries. Roberta and Patrizio from the Italian office did just that, taking the opportunity to network and brainstorm work processes.
Road VS Rail transport

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
