Diplomats dance the samba

They share a passion for soccer, art, architecture and gastronomy; Brazilians and Italians have a long tradition of close ties. Between 1880 and 1930, hundreds of Italians left for Brazil to work on coffee plantations. When Italy freed itself from fascism in 1944, it owed this accomplishment in part to thousands of soldiers from the Brazilian Expeditionary Force.

Samba and solidarity

In holding the Between Friends event in Rome, the Brazilian embassy and the Ministry of Tourism hoped to encourage Italians to travel to Brazil. For five days, guests such as Gosselin Mobility Italy and hundreds of casual passersby enjoyed cocktail bars, live Brazilian music, testimonials and a 3D visit to Rio de Janeiro.

Partner for expats

After being kindly invited to attend the cultural event in Rome, Patrizio Tiscioni, customer care executive tells us: “We had already completed various projects for the Brazilian consulate in Milan and the Ministry of Defense. Since that time, we have been slowly building a partnership with the embassy in Rome.”

Seven languages

One of the strengths of the Gosselin Mobility Italy sales team is that it speaks no fewer than seven languages, including Portuguese. Patrizio: “This helps us ensure that everything runs perfectly, down to the smallest details. In Rome, we have been the long-term partner of the embassies of India, Korea, Canada and Spain for years now. We are also proud to count the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs among our clients.”

The ideal partner for diplomatic moves

“Gosselin has an enormous amount of experience in the specialized field of diplomatic moves”, Patrizio concludes. “Its pan-European network lends itself perfectly to the world of diplomats: many embassies have delegations in countries where we have offices. Take for example diplomatic hubs such as Brussels, Rome, Moscow, Prague and Bern. This is where Gosselin’s footprint really comes in handy.”

Gosselin Belgium receives FIDI Top Performer status

After the Italian and UK office receiving the FAIM 22 Top Performer status, it was Belgium’s turn for a FIDI audit. With Belgium not only having multiple offices in Deurne and Vilvoorde, but also their own warehouses and rolling stock, the audit was extensive but successful nevertheless.
International work experience

An international work experience

With Gosselin offices all over Europe, it’s almost impossible to know everybody. However, an international working experience can be the perfect way to get acquainted with colleagues from different countries. Roberta and Patrizio from the Italian office did just that, taking the opportunity to network and brainstorm work processes.
Road VS Rail transport

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
