Gosselin Georgia supports C.O.A.T.S.

Gosselin employees are always willing to support a good cause. Our team in Georgia supports the C.O.A.T.S. project which was held last weekend in Tbilisi.

Clothing Others Against The Snow (C.O.A.T.S.) is a community outreach project that was set up 9 years ago to keep homeless children warm during the cold winter months. The project involves a clothing drive held by various schools in and around Tbilisi. The items they collect are distributed during a charity event. Thanks to the project, this year they will be able to give 377 needy children aged four to seventeen warm clothing and shoes.

However, a task of this magnitude requires many volunteers, and 14 schools send a total of 289 students to volunteer. “The number of volunteers and children we are able to help rises every year. There are also more and more companies willing to support us,” according to Natia Jorjikia, project coordinator.

Gosselin Georgia is also doing its part. This is the second year they are in charge of collecting the clothing at the schools and bringing the donations to the event location for distribution. The moving boxes were also donated by Gosselin.

Gosselin Belgium receives FIDI Top Performer status

After the Italian and UK office receiving the FAIM 22 Top Performer status, it was Belgium’s turn for a FIDI audit. With Belgium not only having multiple offices in Deurne and Vilvoorde, but also their own warehouses and rolling stock, the audit was extensive but successful nevertheless.
International work experience

An international work experience

With Gosselin offices all over Europe, it’s almost impossible to know everybody. However, an international working experience can be the perfect way to get acquainted with colleagues from different countries. Roberta and Patrizio from the Italian office did just that, taking the opportunity to network and brainstorm work processes.

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
