Dock worker strikes in France - Update
French dock workers have embarked on a strike. This could delay your shipment and generate additional charges.
March
The French dockers will continue their policy of no overtime and no emergency shifts and will be on strike for four hours on March 4th, 6th, 10th, 12t, 14th, 24th, 26th, and 28th. Furthermore, on March 18th, 19th, and 20th there will be a 72 work stoppage called operation 'Ports Morts' (dead ports) during which we foresee no activity at the ports.
Gosselin will do everything in its power to ensure your shipment’s safe arrival or departure. We will keep you updated on any changes.

February
The French dockers will continue their policy of no overtime and no emergency shifts and will be on strike for several hours between 10am and 4pm on February 4th, 6th, 10th, 14th, 18th, 20th, 24th, and 28th. On the 26th and 27th there will be a 48hr strike.
This will probably lead to delays at the terminals to pick up and drop off the containers and possible congestion. Vessels will go through longer waiting times and cargo through longer transit times. More security measures at and near protest sites will also lead to disruptions to road infrastructure around French ports.
Gosselin will do everything in its power to ensure your shipment’s safe arrival or departure. We will keep you updated on any changes.
