Gosselin’s Bucharest branch manager assists with FLOTUS visit
Branch manager of Gosselin Bucharest, Cristinel Dinu assisted with the visit of the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, for which he received special recognition. This is the second Certificate of Appreciation Cristinel has received for his efforts.
“The visit lasted a day longer than when Vice President Kamala Harris visited a few months ago,” Cristinel says. “We were also working at two different locations, in Bucharest and at the U.S. airbase. Even though the two locations are 500 kilometers apart, we have a very reliable local partner who did a great job handling the logistics.”
Visits like this demand a lot of preparation to ensure the First Lady and her large entourage had everything they needed during this social visit. “She came to show her support for the U.S. troops helping the Ukrainian refugees. The requests and modus operandi were similar to those involved in the Vice President’s visit,” Cristinel adds.
He received yet another certificate of appreciation for his efforts. “The recognition from the First Lady will be hung on the wall right next to the certificate from the Vice President. All I’m missing now is the big one,” Cristinel laughs. “Maybe the President himself will pay us a visit too someday. I look forward to it!”
