Gosselin Baku renews partnership with Turkish Airlines

Gosselin Baku began working as a Turkish Airlines agent in December 2020, and this partnership has now been renewed for another year. Irada Khalilova worked for Lufthansa Cargo for seven years before joining Gosselin, and is the driving force behind this partnership. She is also highly valued by customers for her knowledge, professional approach, and fast service.

The project was finalized at a time when most airlines were ceasing their operations in Azerbaijan due to pandemic lockdowns. Only two remained operative in Baku; Silk Way and Turkish Airlines. The latter was looking for an agent to handle airfreight sales for Turkish Airlines. “That’s where Irada came in,” Sabina Jafarova, Azerbaijan Branch Manager explains. “Not only did she work for Lufthansa Cargo but also for ASE Express – a courier company that was a Turkish Airlines agent for a long time. Not only is Irada proficient at her job, the customers already know her and are happy to work with her. Irada brings with her professional customer service skills, good knowledge of airlines and market prices, and the ability to handle requests very fast.”

Not only the customers, but also Turkish Airlines management is satisfied with Gosselin’s work. “Thank you for your active support of our business objectives over the past year. The team at Turkish Airlines appreciates all of the effort you and your organization made,” Turkish cargo management confirms.

This project expanded the Gosselin Baku activities with the addition of more than 90 new customers. “The Turkish Airlines project didn’t just expand our airfreight service activities, but also our worldwide logistics work,” Irada Khalilova adds. “Many of our new customers use our services outside of our region. Before that, Gosselin Baku didn’t work with commercial shipments and was only known in our region as being a relocation company. These days, Gosselin Baku is known as a logistics company that also handles a wide range of activities.”
