Gosselin had both trainer and trainee at the yearly MiM event

A literal typhoon couldn’t stop them. Lennert De Jong and Sara Piselli were expected at the yearly FidiAcademy event; MiM. Lennert as a trainer and Sara as a trainee. In accordance with the bad weather outside, Sara experienced a whirlwind of exercises, different topics, and networking opportunities.

“It’s a really intense training,” Sara remembers the demanding week. “All the trainers pushed us out of our comfort zone, but I tried to tackle every challenge as an opportunity.” The week was full of activities, with a strong focus on leadership, risk management, process management, time management, and effective delegation. But also with a fair share of interpersonal skills to discover yourself and your management style.

“The sessions about the personality styles and interpersonal skills are the most important ones I’m taking home with me,” Sara explains. “It’s very helpful to recognize your own personality and understand your behaviour. Delegation is not always easy, but I can apply these insights to my day-to-day-business and would like to repeat the exercise with my team to further improve collaborations.”

The story begins in October 2024, when the customer arrived in Italy under a military contract and Neno was their designated move coordinator. They bonded over a love for cats and remained friends throughout their stay in Italy. When it was time to return home, two years later, Gary and Shannon immediately contacted Gosselin again.
