Gosselin moves 400 years of history

When the Bern School Museum needs to move all their 80.000 pieces to a new location, the President of the museum, Ernst Jörg, calls upon Gosselin for aid.

The founder of the museum, Mr. Hofer, collected over 400 years of history and culture during his lifetime. The Director of the museum, Angelo Romano, wants to present this Swiss school history in a more contemporary way and make it more accessible to a wider audience.

To do that, the entire collection is relocated to Könitz in Bern. The special guest in this story is Hansli, the human skeleton, who – without a doubt – has seen and heard more than all of us combined.

“Over four Saturdays, approximately 200 pallets were moved from the old location to the new one. The employees of Gosselin Moving AG distinguished themselves on all days of the move through their professionalism, helpfulness, friendliness, and meticulousness. On one of the days, Swiss television SRF accompanied and filmed the relocation. The television crew was also impressed by the calm demeanor and efficiency of the team.

A huge thank you to the entire Gosselin team for their tremendous dedication. They made a valuable contribution to creating a unique school storage facility in the new premises,” says Museum President, Ernst Jörg.
