No inconveniences after Brexit

Business as usual

We have been getting a lot of questions about Brexit. “Will export to the UK be affected after the official Brexit on January 31?”

Jessica: “There will be no inconveniences after Brexit. Operationally speaking, it will be business as usual. There is no reason for the major seaports and shipping lanes to be affected. Besides, the transition period from January 30, 2020 to December 31, 2020 (instead of a hard Brexit) means that everything will remain the same as it was before this period.”

In terms of intra-European shipments, we might have to deal with potential cross-channel border delays. Our UK team is happy to advise you on any shipments which are scheduled to arrive/depart after Brexit on a job-by-job basis.
