Perfect timing and white gloves – another Gosselin fine art move handled with precision

Renoir, Degas, Signac, Pissarro, … It’s the names of the latest artist’s works that Gosselin moved for Christie’s, a world-renowned auction house. The four paintings were flown from UK to Kazakhstan and were already the third assignment for the same customer.

“Artwork of this calibre requires extra care and attention,” explains Maia Pertaia, Import Move Manager for the Caucasus and Central asia Region. “We have an expert crew handling the paintings wearing white gloves and store them in temperature-controlled rooms until customs clearance releases the artwork.”

It’s not the first time that John Braeckeveldt’s team deals with fine art collections. “The fact that we were approached again by the same customer means something,” smiles Maia. “It’s quite the responsibility and honour to be trusted with these valuable paintings. The timing, customer service, and communication needs to be perfect.”
