US Embassy in Riga fully furnished thanks to Gosselin

Gosselin promptly delivered four containers filled with new furniture for the US Embassy in Riga. All safety conditions and customer requirements taken into account, it was a meticulous move that required some collaborations but once again, was handled smoothly.

“The small entrance to the embassy posed some challenges”, explains Olga Konstantinova, Branch Manager of the Baltic Region. “We had to take the crane size into account and use trucks for a 20ft container rather than a 40ft one to accommodate the specific unloading location near the building.”

Gosselin handled the import documentation, the unloading of the cargo at Riga port, and coordinated the commercial transport in collaboration with ORAS and VKR, two transport companies. Transrent provided a suitable crane. Everything went without a hitch, resulting in a satisfied customer.

“The task was difficult due to the size of the entrance gate and some barriers between the crane and the containers, but Gosselin did a perfect job of delivering the new furniture to our site. No damage, no delays, professional like always. We are glad to have a partner like Gosselin,” says Olga Subina, Shipping Assistant from the US Embassy in Riga.

More Than a Move: A Friendship Built on Trust and a Love for Cats

The story begins in October 2024, when the customer arrived in Italy under a military contract and Neno was their designated move coordinator. They bonded over a love for cats and remained friends throughout their stay in Italy. When it was time to return home, two years later, Gary and Shannon immediately contacted Gosselin again.
