All process was well organized and they have informed me in each step what is going on and guided me on the actions needed from my side. The movers had to come twice with additional cost because the first time they were given the wrong information about no need for external elevator .The strong external elevaton was part of my agreement with Gosselin - Mr J.van Hamersveld performance was excellent since the beginning! - The belgian coordinator was very efficient! - My score is 8 because I had to pay for new tickets to Athens since the first date there was no moving and the second day available was the week after(on top of the additional cost for the second passage) - I have not unpacked the chest parts and the marble crate since the museum where they will go is still on works,I hope not to have any surprise! Anyway finally ,even with a bigger cost,the moving was well done and I would like to thank you!

Le déménagement a été effectué alors que le pays était en guerre et que Tel Aviv était la cible de tirs de roquettes / missiles. Malgré une situation très tendue, l'équipe de déménageurs était présente et a fait du très bon travail : bonne organisation, professionalisme dans l'emballage. Cela doit absolument être souligné. D'autre part, le patron d'Ocean suivait de près le déménagement et a rendu visite lors de l'emballage. Vraie communication avec Ocean, société très réactive. Une remarque : je constate que les cartons étaient moins épais et de moins bonne qualité que lors de mon précédent déménagement. Comparaison possible également avec déménagement que j'ai fait le 19 août de mon pied à terre à Bruxelles vers mon nouvel appartement. - Je crois comprendre qu'il s'agit de la fiche technique éffectuée lors de l'évaluation du volume. Le commercial qui est venu à la maison était professionnel et consciencieux. Il a fait une fiche technique claire. Il y a eu ensuite une autre fiche technique moins claire ne correspondant pas au déménagement. Tout s'est néanmoins réglé après quelques échanges de messages. - Très bon travail. Equipe professionnelle et travaillant de façon organisée et courageuse, à un rythme soutenu, sans perte de temps. Impressionnant. - Excellente expérience. - Oui, mais je souhaiterais que mon nom entier ne figure pas.

Only one person was sent at the pick up location with no packing material or packing experience. We had to buy the material and pack the goods on our own. Also the person was supportive but he was not familiar with France. He did not speak either french or english. Very difficult to communicate. The appointment was between 10 am to 2 pm. He arrived at 3 pm. - The response from Bert was good. However, the coordination with the France team could have been better.

Es gab Güter die hätte ich als Laie besser für den Transport vorbereitet. - Haupsächlich weil die Umzugskartons bei der Lieferung sehr kaputt und mitgenommen aussahen. Auch einige Güter waren zerknittert oder verbogen. Es ging dabei nichts kaputt aber der erste Eindruck beim erhalten der Kartons war sehr schlecht. Weiter war das tracking der Güter und die Lieferterminvereinbarung mühsam, da der Termin immer wider aufs neue verschoben werden musste.

I am thankful we got the pro team at origin and destination and not a seasonal team; It makes a big difference for me - team itself was good (not perfect as some of my items have been just piled without any protection inside boxes ) but communication with aires wasn't the best and first , it became easier later on in the process. Most of all I deplore the poor quality of the material at origin. I have moved quite a few times , internationally, and this is the first I see boxes so thin and not sturdy at all. This is a way to save money of course but it doesn't bring a feeling of safety for my belongings. Except for the wardrobes, boxes were mainly single wall card box. At arrival you can see boxes are either ripped , burst or distorted. Obviously not sturdy enough to be piled during a sea shipment travel. Also at the bottom of wardrobes there were a lot of cushions, small boxes etc, the long dresses and coats came out crimpled. Which I believe is not the purpose when wardrobes are used. As consequences , some of the dresses and coats have now to go to the pressing. extra cost for me. - they helped efficiently and were nice to work with, I really appreciated them being on time - I need to make a difference between the people and the company. Interactions with move coordinator, and team (Gosselin at destination) was very efficient and pleasant. this is a 8 or 9 over 10 I would add the exact same remarks I made here above regarding the materials. In the past we have been in touch with some of your competitors using better material; adding for example very strong cardbox corner when wrapping the furniture, using less paper and tape but higher quality boxes. My overall feeling is that the people are pro but money is drastically saved on the quality of the tools furnished to the good team you have. Even with he best team they can't do miracles with poor quality materials.

Apart from not having arranged a furniture elevator for the day of the move, the guys got the work done quickly. I did have a couple of items, namely my gold colored metal shelf that was not packed properly and arrived scratched and damaged. The items from my office were also not packed as well as other things and those boxes sustained the most damage. - I had great communication from Rebekah who handled my property from it's landing in Houston to clearing customs in Long Beach. She explained the delay of the train which set the arrival of my goods back and responded to most of my emails promptly. Once my things were transferred to the warehouse to be scheduled for shipment, the communication stopped. I ended up reaching out to Nadia from who was my last point of contact on the Dutch side and letting her know I would never work with Schumacher company again because they were not returning my calls, not giving me any sort of estimated date for delivery, not returning any of my emails and not even responding to emails Rebekah sent on my behalf. I requested compensation for this as my goods were in the warehouse for 6 weeks without explanation or communication. Not only that, as soon as Nadia reached out, they were delivered 72 hours later. This tells me that neither my goods, nor me as a customer were valued at all. Had my emails or phone call been returned, and the situation explained, I would have had more understanding regarding the extraordinary delay. However, there was no communication. I was not valued as a customer, until someone complained on my behalf. That is unacceptable and I firmly stand behind my request for compensation. I'm not looking for a completely refund, but the hardship and expense this delay added to my life was unacceptable. It seriously sucks not being valued when I paid a fair market rate to have my things packed and delivered to me in a timely fashion. Had this delay been explained, I wouldn't be demanding this, but, here we are. - If the delay is explained to my satisfaction and compensation discussed, then yes, you can use my feedback. - If I dealt with the level of professionalism that I encountered in Dordrecht with the packing of my goods throughout my experience of this move, the score would be a 10. The US side of this operation greatly diminished my satisfaction.

The packers were excellent and very detailed oriented. They listened to my needs and did exactly what I asked for. The representative in Algeria was mostly absent and hardly replied to emails. This could be improved. - Excellent with very nice and professional staff. - The unpackers were very polite, on time and helpful. Excellent service. - Reto was very helpful throughout the process. I would have liked to be informed more regularly about the status of the shipment. - I would recommend Gosselin for their professional services and their excellent client support. The packing was very well done and nothing was lost of broken.

The company had transloaded our household goods from the container into a truck and a van without us being witness of this process (breaking the seal). They arrived only at 10.00 at our location. Some of the boxes were damaged from the transloading. The team leader decided to first unload both vehicles and then to start unpacking our goods. Only 2 of the 5 people were skilled to assemble our goods. - The service in Ankara was outstanding, but the performance by the subcontractor in Washington was poor. Several of our items were damaged or broken. - Very professional, hard working

Several extra delays were experienced The route made no sense : our stuff got in through Houston, very close to our final destination, but went all the way to LA to stay there for weeks (waiting for a full truck …) to then come back all the way to Texas. I was pregnant and did not get my baby stuff in time. The team was very responsive by email though and nice. - Very easy communication Initially Did not transmit to the local FR moving team the most up to date Destination City and Mover Name but was fast to correct it afterwards. - Did not have the most up to date destination city and Mover Name but were fast to correct it - Excellent overall Did not explain well that the moving crew was gonna bring boxes and repack everything

Voir avec votre sous-traitant et la branche France pour améliorer la qualité. Si le contrat est toujours actif lors de mon retour en Belgique, je ne compte plus faire appel à ces services. - Bonne visite et disponilité du responsable. Manque de clarté sur : - Le matériel d'emballage disponible (quels types...) - Comment les meubles seront protégés (couvertures ou pas ?) - Très bonne équipe. Rapide et efficace. - Les meubles ont été déplacés de camion entre l’origine et la destination. Tout a donc été redéplacé. Plusieurs caisses/meubles étaient dès lors abimés et très sales. L’équipe est arrivée en retard et n’était pas au courant de l’endroit. Il n’y a donc pas eu de reconnaissance du lieu de livraison. Ils m’ont d’ailleurs demandé où placer le lift extérieur et par où passer les meubles ! Personne ne nous a averti de l’arrivée et j’ai contacté la Belgique pour avoir des nouvelles sur l’heure d’arrivée (nous étions prêts à 08h30). Le service n’était pas professionnel et les meubles n’étaient pas protégés par une couverture sur le lift. J’ai demandé d’installer une couverture sur le plateau ce qui a énervé les gens. Il y a eu de nombreuses discussions entre le responsable du lift et les déménageurs sur place en ce qui concerne la position et l’installation du lift. La manipulation au travers de la fenêtre à la réception des meubles était chaque fois périlleuse (distance entre le plateau et le rebord de fenêtre). Au moindre commentaire ou demande de faire attention, le responsable d’équipe s’énervait en menaçant de partir ! Il n’y a pas eu de décompte des boites/colis à l’arrivée par l’équipe. J’ai fait la remarque, ce qui a aussi suscité un énervement. - Le POC chez AGS a immédiatement été donné. Je n'ai plus eu de contact par la suite avec Chatal Pas.

Just the right amount of e-mail communication. Prompt replies (by me and him on my follow-up questions). Check a few days before arrival of crew. Pleasant surprise stuff had arrived in Sofia and could be unloaded just as I had arrived. - To be honest - I don´t really remember (quite a while ago). But definitely OK (went through the appartment, had evaluation, went over what is fragile and not, need for outside lift etc...) - I had fun with the crew and spent 1,5 intensive days with them. I put ´´good´´ as I believe the work would have been easier or more convinient if on day one the crew would have consisted of more than 2 persons (a hell of a job with just 2 people). On the second day, there was numeric reinforcement. - More crew on the first day, making the second day a very short one (just final cleansing). Appreciated the interaction and mutual understanding (for instance: let´s stop tonight, as I can´t unpack more; leaving us some days to unpack and put aside in more manageable tempo. And then crew members dropped by to pick up some remaining empty boxes and more. Very convinient and nice customer oriented approach. - 10 on Bulgarian side; 09 on Belgian side (too small crew on day) - Share it with your crew. Me and social media, no, that´s not a good match.

Es war alles in allem in Ordnung. Manchmal sehr viel Emailverkehr (redundantes hin- und hersenden von Dokumenten), aber so ein Transport ist ja auch komplex und verlangt Geduld von Seite des Klienten. Es wäre schön gewesen, noch mehr über die Route des Containers aufgeklärt zu werden, wir haben jedoch alle angefragten Informationen jeweils von CS Laos oder Gosselin erhalten. - Sehr viel Packmaterial verwendet, aber besser mehr als zu wenig! - Vor Emilie hat und vor allem Hr Simon Erdmann betreut, alles ok, viele lange Emails, bitte kürzen ;-)

the items were extremely well packed, some of them contained jts one small thing in a big box full of paper. the marking outside the boxes were unclear, we did not know in which language were written, which made difficult the distribution of the boxes while taken all out of the container. in general well, just these small items that can be easily solved in furture movings - ALL good, all staff were very helpful. Juts in the morning we started a bit slow and we managed to take all off the container by noon, which was extremely appreciated

Emballage catastrophique et nombreuses erreurs commises (mauvais ou pas d'emballage, emballage pêle-mêle de nombreux articiles fragiles (lampes, cadres, chaussures, etc), mauvais chargement dans le camion et caisses endommagées, 2 caisses prévues pour le garde-meubles dans le camion, etc), ce qui implique de nombreux dégâts (dossier actuellement compilé auprès de l'assurance). - Le sous-traitant AGS n'a pas répondu aux attentes et n'a pas respecté les termes du contrat avec les AE. Equipe de déménageurs à Bruxelles pas suffisamment expérimentée. Certains sont des livreurs le reste de l'année et font cela pendant l'été car mieux payés. Visiblement pas de formation suffisante. - Bonne visite mais il avait oublié d'ajouter la voiture dans le devis transmis aux AE.

The timeframe for inspection of possible damages after delivery is very short. It is simply impossible to check more than 200 boxes in two days to see if nothing is damaged. While unpacking a few days later, we discovered that two (expensive) lamp shades were also damaged because they were crammed with too many other - heavy - items in boxes, but it was too late to make a claim for compensation. It is true that we could have asked to unpack all boxes but that would not have been realistic and there was not much willingness (see point above). The markings on the boxes were also unclear (on the boxes with lamp shades it was mentioned that they contain "toys"), so it was not possible to do a quick check of fragile items. - It was positive that the services at destination were done (partly) by the same team as the one at origin in Sweden. We were not very satisfied by the helpers from Ghent (Schollaert), who made some damages to the walls while carrying goods inside (and tried to convince me not to make a note on the delivery document because "it will be not be of use anyway"), and constantly made the impression that they would like to leave instead of proactively unpacking items. - Friendly and efficient, though some items were broken or damaged, which is perhaps inevitable with a large international move.

Did not respond to any mail and he was not available through the phone while I had some practical questions just after the survey. - There was a lot of discussion with the movers of Hanseatic regarding the fact that the team in Belgium dismantled almost everything to limit the volume while in the end we only used half of a 40foot container. Also for us as a customer it is frustrating that we had to limit ourselves to 34m³ (incl piano) while the container was half full. Note also that every dismantling increases the wear of our materials/furniture. Not sure what logic is behind this way of working. - We had to move a piano and in the end the piano did not end up at the location we preferred because of the several stairs and corners to the 1st floor. We’ve put it in the basement (still OK as this is a big finished recreation room) through the back yard (+/- 40m walk from another street) . The team leader notified me that normally they couldn’t do it because they were not insured to do it through the back yard, but because it was basically the only option they did it although it was really difficult. Another option was putting it in the garage… or a kind of warehouse… (= not acceptable of course). I did not have the impression they were very motivated to do the job. They complained a lot about the job. - See previous remarks.

Good information sharing. - Very responsive and clear coordination for the transport of the household goods out of Belgium. Timely delivery date updates. - Overall ok. But initial shipping date out of Antwerp was shifted from 29 May to 08 June (10day delay). Container shipping planning could be improved. Initial delivery date to port SLC was 04 July. Actual delivery date to port SLC was 21 July. - There was also a 7day delay in Long Beach, CA resulting in the total 17day delay for shipment to arrive in port at SLC on 21 July. The communication with PTS point of contact was very poor -> only reactive and not proactive. Only 4 mails received since the container left the house in Belgium. All 4 mails were sent as a response on a mail sent by the costumer service coordinator or myself due to no information sharing (for example I noticed that the container was being shipped back to Europe... without info about our household goods being transferred to???) The moving crew stated that our shipment was waiting in their storage in SLC since 26 Jul. Also no information on the arrival time of the moving crew as it was stated in the general communication mail "The crew's arrival time will be advised 1 business day prior to delivery". In the late afternoon 6 Aug, I had to call 2 other persons at PTS to get the confirmation and arrival time of the moving crew on 7 Aug. However, the moving crew did a very good job. No damages to the house and everything installed and placed as expected. All packaging materials were taken away. - Good service for the BEL part, poor service for the PTS part (Moving crew was very good).

Diese Information hatte die Umzugsfirma Gosselin nachher nicht, weil es zu keinem Vorgespräch kam. Am Umzugstag musste dann eine zweite Person organisiert werden, weil nur eine Person den schweren Tisch nicht transportieren hätte können.

There was a serious misunderstanding regarding the absence of a lift, although clearly ordered. Things were nevertheless quickly solutioned. Also, some crates came empty (probably from another customer) given the impression that our goods were stolen. They were finally retrieved later from the warehouse. Also, despite our goods being very well packed (some clearly marked "Fragile"), several items were damaged probably because of the rude and repeated loadings and un-loadings (from truck to container, and vice versa, and between different warehouses). This needs to be avoided.

In general ok. Although a 40ft. container was advised which in the end was 50% empty. - The quality of packaging is very different from mover to mover. We had plastic cups which cost less than €5 packaged in 5 layers of paper and we had furniture and expensive handbags put and cardboard boxes without any wrapping. This resulted in some damage on mentioned items. Also one piece of furniture was damaged since it was closed wrongly. and there was damage to a new cargo bike. - Moving was ok. Downside is that they don't do unpacking and also do not connect washing machines. Picking up the packing material was arranged well. - General contact with Dominique was very good. It would be very good if Unimove could facilitate shipping of large batteries (for E-bikes and tools). These now all need to left in NL and it is impossible for an individual to have these items shipped. I think Unimove would be in a good position to facilitate this. - See comment above Main issue is that there are some damages during transport/packaging.

Upon arrival at our residence, Grace Removals immediately realized that their truck was too heavy to navigate to the top where our garage was located. Consequently, they promptly arranged for a smaller truck to be dispatched from a location nearly two hours away. The team efficiently transferred the items from the large truck to the smaller one and successfully reached the garage, unloading all belongings flawlessly. In der Luftfracht wurde ein Karton geliefert, der in das Lager sollte. Am Tag der Auslieferung wurden erst Sachen aus dem LKW in meine Wohnung getragen, die gar nicht mir gehören. Möbel wurden teilweise nicht richtig aufgebaut (schief, Winkel nicht angeschraubt, falsche Schrauben verwendet). Vitrine wurde versucht alleine zu bewegen, dabei wurde das Glas der Türe zerstört. Dinge sind verschwunden. - Warum gibt es keine Toolbox wo sortiert alle Schrauben, etc. für die Möbel, die abgebaut werden, zentral wiederzufinden sind? Würde den Aufbau deutlich vereinfachen. Verpackung teilweise nicht ausreichend, dadurch kam es zu Bruch und Verkratzungen an den Möbeln. Beschriftung nicht immer eindeutigt oder nicht in Englisch. Arbeiter können sich teilweise nicht verständigen.

Guys at origin were great but I have a suggestion/complain about the process of the inventory: it's not detailed enough. In our case (just deliver the boxes) it would have been massively important to have a detailed inventory (ie with the content of each box) to speed up the checks (for insurance) and/or to find items quickly. An example: one box labelled "Pans/Kitchen" did not contain anything related to Pans or Kitchen items but contained one important (and insured) item. If possible think about how to "snapshot" the content of each box in a digital inventory for the customer to use at destination.

Packing was very fast with one staff member but when unpacking it turned out it was messy. Some things were not packed but as a whole wrapped in paper. Contrairement à l'autre prestataire identifié par Danone, la personne qui s'est occupée de la visite technique a pris le temps de visiter la maison, et de noter les biens à déménager. - L'emballage des biens a été réalisé de façon très professionnelle et en temps record. Une légère frustration par rapport aux informations "contradictoires" fournies quant au timing d'expedition. Lors de la visite technique, il nous a été indiqué que le déménagement avion arriverait sous 15 jours environ. Lors du déménagement, nous avons été mis en garde sur le fait d'anticiper un mois pour la livraison - avec un impact sur ce que nous avons pu emmener. In fine, le déménagement est arrivé à peine 8 jours après notre arrivée en France... 2eme point d'interrogation : il était clair que la société ne voulait prendre aucun risque concernant l'importation de denrées alimentaires - alors que le format standard de la packing list mentionne clairement les produits alimentaires. Nous avons perdu une opportunité importante. - Seul le déménagement avion a été livré à ce jour - tout était parfait. A confirmer à la livraison du déménagement bateau.

Ich war nur für 2 Wochen in der Schweiz und musste persönlich in ihr Büro kommen um die Papiere zu unterschreiben (6 Stunden mit Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln!) Da niemand dort die Unterlagen via computer schicken konnte und es unmöglich gewesen wäre das per Post in nützlicher Zeit zu erledigen. Das war ein unnötiger Stress und Zeitverlust! - Massimo Calabrese ist sehr gut informiert, hilfreich und hat mir sehr geholfen mit seinem Wissen und den schnellen Antworten! Er ist sehr höflich und optimistisch und hat immer sofort auf meine E-Mail geantwortet. Vielen Dank!!

Our experiences in the Netherlands were stellar, no complaints. Arjan van der Marel was great. While things were in transit we didn't appreciate the lack of communication. Then when it finally arrived at the final destination at least we got some information again. - Brytor was acceptable, they informed us the boxes had arrived and explained the process from there on - There was a complete lack of communication after our items left the Netherlands. We received a confirmation at some point that it had arrived in Canada, and after that nothing until at some point we started asking for information. There was no information on the expected route of our items, so when we received the update that the boxes were now in Vancouver rather than Calgary it was surprising to say the least.

Everything went very smoothly. - The price was unbelievably expensive for what I had to move. My husband and i moved from San Diego to Torino a few years earlier and we had 2 cars and a container. I moved about a lot less and it cost about the same amount. I cannot believe the price of moving.

There was some delay in getting the sending from Gosselin Moving Storage-Magazine-Antwerpen to transport from Antwerpen to Jyvaskyla, Finland. Once it was cleared the transport and delivery of the sending to its destination took place in good order. The service by Gosselin Moving Antwerpen was very good and friendly.

The communication was very clear. They were very respectful of the property and neighborhood, ensuring that they parked the 18-wheeler in a place that did not destroy anything or obstruct regular traffic in the area. The team was extremely professional, efficient and not to mention pleasant. They really made this a positive experience. They handle the items with utmost care and assisted us with the inventory check of each box. - We did a lot of research, and in the end we were really happy with our choice. In general, it was good. It happened though that I called Simon several times during the normal working hours, and there was no response (and, if I'm not wrong, there was no call back i.e. it seems his phone doesn't have a list of missed calls). To get some information I had to wait several days, however, I am not sure if these waiting times were caused by others, and not by Simon. - I was contacted just couple of times by the sales representative, so I cannot provide here something specific. - Guys did a great job, delivering everything in one day. - Services were very good, however, I still think that packing at origin could have been done in one day.

Jacek always answered my emails and any correspondence in a timely and prompt manner. - I was very impressed with Gosselin's service. The only reason I did not rate it as a 10 is I feel it would have been possible to use less packaging on some items. Additionally, it would be an idea if Gosselin offered the option of used boxes for some items. It seems so very wasteful to send all of those boxes and packaging to recycling when they are in perfectly good condition to be used at least for 1 more move.

Insgesamt waren wir mit der Dienstleistung von Gosselin sehr zufrieden. Der Partner in Kenia hat jedoch Verbesserungspotenzial im Bereich Professionalitaet. - CD Shipping ist eine der besten Umzugsfirmen in Afrika und Herr Vogel ein Urgestein im Transportbusiness. Trotz einiger administrativer Hindernisse hat er die Verzollung des Containers innert nuetzlicher Frist abgewickelt. - Die Crew war nett, aber nicht allzu professionell beim Einpacken. Schenker hat beim Verpackungsmaterial gespart. Anstatt ihr eigenes Material zu verwenden, haben sie viele unserer gebrauchten Kartons, Seidenpapier und 'bubble wrap' verwendet. Geschirr und Glaswaren wurden ziemlich abenteuerlich verpackt. - Uns wurden Kleiderboxen (hoch, zum Aufhaengen von Kleidern) versprochen. Die Groesse und Art der Umzugskartons entsprach jedoch nicht dem internationalen Standard. Der Container wurde entgegen der Abmachung via Durban und nicht direkt nach Kapstadt verschifft, was zu einer 4 woechigen Verspaetung der Auslieferung gefuehrt hatte. - Herr Erdmann hat mich im Vorfeld des Umzugs proaktiv kontaktiert um meine Beduerfnisse abzuklaeren. Er war fuer Rueckfragen stets erreichbar.

I wish a different US partner was selected for this transaction. It dragged the overall score down. If it's simply about Gosselin, everything was smooth, and obviously a higher score than 7. - Delivery crew was polite, arrived on time, and all the boxes made it. Everything else was terrible. Communication was sub-par (when I asked very clear questions, vague answers were given to me, which were not helpful at all; phone calls were not picked up, even after I emailed them in advance that I'd call on a specific day to discuss various things; when the phone was picked up, Dennis (my moving coordinator) answered with a plain "yes" and never introduced himself (I had to ask who I was talking to), which is super unprofessional (they're running a business, so the phone should be answered in a polite manner, for example "Good morning, you called Brytor International Moving, my name is Dennis, how may I help you?"); payment was incredibly difficult, I had to figure out on my own which payments they accepted, which involved being on the phone with their bank and my bank literally for hours; after writing a lengthy email, another employee responded with straightforward payment options that had never been offered before; due to all this (and not the holidays) the delivery was heavily delayed, and the process on the US side was unnecessarily complicated and difficult, which could have been avoided.

A happy customer. The delay in loading container on vessel in Matadi/Congo was timely informed (on forehand) and satisfyingly dealt with. - Very good team, efficient & friendly. Good language skills (NL & EN). - Good & efficient team. Good & new packing material. Loading our vehicle (outsourced by MOVEONE KINSHASA) was a shabby job and led to damaging our vehicle. The flatbed truck and container were at different hights. The could not be rolled on or driven onto the container and was hoisted onto the container in a dubious manner. - Very informative and cooperative. - Very timely & concise information.

Globalement nous sommes très satisfaits, néanmoins demander un supplément pour remonter un meuble quand on a déjà payé plus de 10000€ pour le déménagement me semble un peu exagéré. - La visite en visio a été organisée simplement et a été efficace. - Rachela a été disponible et réactive pendant tout le process. - Nous avons été globalement très satisfaits de la prestation et notamment du travail à domicile avec 3 réserves : 1 - un meuble a dû être entièrement démonté et n'a pas été remonté à l'arrivée, 2 - un meuble n'a pas été démonté et était un peu abîmé lors de son déballage à domicile 3 - un carton qui a servi de poubelles à mégôts lors du déménagement a été ensuite utilisé comme carton pour mettre du matériel de garage. - Anonymement le cas échéant.

Impeccable, excellente interaction. - Le professionnalisme des premières étapes me laisse croire que la fin de la prestation pourrait n'être qu'un incident isolé. Je ne sais pas comment l'équipe d'arrivée a pu croire que je serais satisfaite d'être laissée en plan avec une armoire à moitié remontée, une centaine de cartons à déballer, et de se dégager de leur responsabilité en me mettant la pression pour me faire signer des papiers manifestement en désaccord avec la réalité de la prestation. En vérité, je n'ai même pas eu l'opportunité d'une visite des lieux une fois le déchargement fini. Je les ai libérés uniquement car j'ai évalué qu'il n'y avait plus rien à en tirer et que ce serait encore plus compliqué de leur demander le déballage plutôt que d'y procéder moi-même. - Impeccable, équipe très professionnelle et consciencieuse jusqu'au bout des ongles. - Impeccable. - Une prestation qui commençait bien mais s'est finie en queue de poisson. Une fois le déchargement fini, l'équipe n'avait manifestement pas l'intention de procéder au déballage. J'ai réussi à ce qu'ils m'aident à remonter incomplètement une armoire, après quoi ils m'ont annoncé partir quoiqu'il arrive sous 10 minutes, en prétextant devoir payer le parking du camion de leur poche s'ils restaient plus longtemps. L'un d'entre eux m'a demandé de signer des documents qui ne correspondaient manifestement pas à la réalité de la prestation. J'ai préféré accepter de les laisser partir plutôt que d'avoir à gérer en deux langues une équipe démotivée pour le déballage. À noter que le membre français de l'équipe était de bonne volonté et que le départ précipité s'est fait sous l'impulsion du chauffeur britannique.

Die Umzugsdauer war die weitaus längste in meiner gesamten Karriere: über fünfeinhalb Monate für den Versand Dakar - Maputo (also kontinentintern, von Westafrika nach südliches Afrika). Der Container wurde gem. Trackingroute 4x (!!!) umgeladen. Die Schiffsroute hätte bestimmt besser geplant werden können! Wir mussten in dieser Zeit in einem leeren Haus "campen" und begnügten uns mit dem Inhalt weniger Koffer. Hätten wir gewusst, dass die Übergansperiode so lange dauert, hätten wir uns anders vorbereitet, z. B. eine Luftfracht für unsere Kinder organisiert. Aber ich wurde in keisnter Weise auf eine solch lange Wartedauer vorbereitet! Bisherige Umzüge dauerten längsten 2 Monate. - Die Auslieferung erfolgte an einem Samstag, die Kartons wurden im Haus abgeladen, um 14 Uhr ging das gesamte Team nach Hause, Samstag arbeite man nur halbtags. Wir verbrachten das Wochenende inmitten von Kartons und Staub (wir "campten" ja beriets seit Monaten im Haus). Am Montag kam das Team zurück und arbeitete zügig und effizient, wir konnten alles an 1 Tag auspacken und weitgehend einräumen. - Das Team war freundich, aber kam mit 2h mit Verspätung und arbeitete vergleichweise langsam. Der Container blieb wochenlang in Dakar stehen. Beim Auspacken ist aufgefallen, dass die Ware teilweise ungenügend und aber unlogsich (verschwenderisch) verpackt war. - Freundlich und zuvorkommend, es fehlte proaktive Informationserteilung, Auskunft erhielt ich nur auf Anfrage.

If we here address Mr Savary’ s performance it is in our experience fair at very best .Hours spent on virtual surveys to arrive to serious discrepancies... On large moves we would advise to use on site surveys . - More than vey good ,excellent ! The team lead by Philippe did a superb job . These professionals are efficient ,safe ,cautious ,resourceful ...and in addition a pleasure to deal with ! - Partly same team ,and same performance However , Gosselin should be very selective in hiring external help . Twice we had people added to the team they didn’t have same work ethics and there was a serious safety issue where one mover could have been badly hurt ...lack of professionalism and understanding by the hired helpers . - Somehow this is our 3rd move with Gosselin and if asked we will recommend . As always there were some minor issues but for sure no damages neither to our goods nor to the premises ,difficult to do it better ! One recommendation ,in site survey at origin AND at destination ,this would avoid we believe some issues ...which by the way were all solved either by teh moving team ,incl driver ,or leadership . - No full name please mainly on social channels ,but if a potential customer wants to speak with us no problem - Some misunderstandings ,but in general a desire to help and make things happen . I don't want my name to circulate on your website/social media, but you may share our experience in an anonymous manner. - Please see above as well. Out of all my moves (and there were many in the course of a diplomatic career of 34 years), this was the worst one in terms of number of damages recorded, partial delivery of services that have been paid for and the unexplained disappearance of items (that were originally all together in one box). - Unpacking services, including putting together of furniture, were only very partially granted: On the second day, after barely 4 hours (spent mainly on unloading of boxes from the truck/street to our apartment on the 1st floor), the crew was unwilling to continue with unpacking - my husband and I had not other choice than letting them go back to Marseille. Services, for which Gosselin had been paid for, were thus left over to us. No effective compensation/assistance was offered. - Smaller items were well packed in general, but bigger items (furniture) very poorly; this led to a huge amount of damage to our furniture. Furthermore, the list with box numbers contained many errors (some numbers appeared twice, other never - and some of the contents marked on the boxes were wrong, we wonder if some boxes were repackaged somewhere). One mystery persist re. the fate of one box which existed in Hanoi, but disappeared somewhere along the transport route and was not delivered at the end station. There were several stops and partners involved in this transport, and it's unclear where and how this disappearance/loss happened. The packaging for the grand piano - with plastic material - led to an extremely high volume of plastic particles on the out- and inside of the piano; it's the first time that I experienced such packaging with harmful consequences. Also, the handling for taking the piano out of our apartment in Hanoi was not carefully enough prepared in advance (no previous measurements taken of piano and balcony heights, last-minute action required with hammering to reduce the size of the piano packaging, this hammering may have caused the problems with the piano mechanics). All in all, Saigon Van has not yet reached the high standards required for the handling of international transports.

Il y a eu un problème, mais qui a causé de nombreux désagréments: la date d'arrivée du camion, qui a été reportée deux fois, ce qui m'a obligé à changer deux fois mes billets d'avion. Lors d'une de ces circonstances, Gosselin a oublié d'informer son équipe suisse, qui s'est déplacée pour rien. En revanche, je n'ai que des louanges pour l'équipe sur place, qui s'est avérée très professionnelle, serviable et agréable.

(The bracing boards did not seem secure, and one cracked while they were hammering it in place) - The on-the-spot repairs of damaged furniture was not effective. (A moulding board was re-attached incorrectly on one piece and did not hold up on another.)

The team here in the USA arrived, delivered the shipment and put the furniture back together in a timely manner, they were able to get everything done in a few short hours and made every effort to make sure we were satisfied. - Arjan has been helpful and has kept me up to date on what was occuring at all moments of the move. - The team that came to France and packed me out were hard working, courteous and got everything taken care of in a timely fashion.

One of the packer ignored all stickers that labeled all the lockers and storage points, so by moving into the new location a superconfusion happened and the movers had to reshuffel a lot of wrong boxes. From the roof back to the cellar, from the master bed room to the roof etc...

We had an incident with air freight where a carton came into contact with water and mould formed, most likely due to improper handling. Generally, the period of shipping from Beira (port) to final destination (Harare) and predictability of final delivery date was unclear, which required significant short-term flexibility from our side to free time for when the truck actually arrived. I highly recommend them for moving. - Whilst there were no problems with delivery and receipt of shipment, the lead up to the arrival of the shipment could be managed better. The customer had to follow up on updates, the arrival date of container kept changing, etc. Communication was an issue. - Very professional, on time and showed flexibility with customer's needs - all communications were done online/telephone.

I know English is not a core language but if there is doubt then the boxes should be written in Italian so that we know what is inside. It is a 2 because the guys that did the packing were great, otherwise it would be a 1. - Very friendly and professional. - The guys that came to pack up the house were very nice and professional. - In hindsight, after what followed, this was very poor. No indication about the challenges on my shipping route, wrong estimate on shipping times shared,... - Very poor. Shipping times were indicated during the sales process. After I confirmed the offer and signed up, he seems to have forgotten the shipping times. Communication was reactive... I had to follow up and was shared information too late. For example, I was told the container would arrive on the 18th of October in Dublin and be likely delivered on the 20th. I followed up on the 18th, as I had not heard anything, and was then told the ship had not left the harbor in Rotterdam. In the sales process I was told that boxes could be delivered to my house ahead of the move. After signing the offer I was told that this would cost extra and I have to collect the boxes myself. Poor communication and very little respect or consideration for the me as a client.

Bruelles: l'emballage était parfois un peu rapide et certains objets étaient cassés à l'arrivée (4 verres et 1 assiette). Bösingen: la visite du 13 juillet au garde-meuble était mal préparée/coordonnée à l'interne (Gosselin) et l'un des collaborateurs s'est manifestement montré impatient d'en finir. - Mme Betis-Cosson a été très professionnelle. Excellent service, Antoine was super helpful, guiding me all along the process and very reactive. - Main feedback is on the organization of the cartons. 1) The naming on the cartons was often not related to the objects put inside (hence we misplaced few cartons during the destination unpacking) 2) We found different pieces of the same element in different cartons (e.g. the bed legs support & screws in a living room carton, or the remote control of the television not in with the TV support carton). 3) Also the leather cushions of the sofa were crushed in small cartons (very wrinkled). - Fantastic team! Helpful, attentive to details, taking care of the goods when moving them. Best moving team I have worked with :) - Excellent service, Maciej was always on top and replying very fast to my emails and questions. Very agile and accommodating to the changes.

l'équipe n'avait pas assez de personnes pour effectuer le travail, ils ont dû faire venir des intérimaires. L'emballage a été fait de façon à augmenter le nombre de cartons, qui était à moitié vides (photos à l'appui) avec des emballages en papier qui augmentaient le volume d'un objet de 2 à 3 fois. Des meubles qui pouvaient être démontés ne l'ont pas été. Tout ça a contribué au fait que plusieurs affaires ont dû être laissées en Suisse. Les indications sur les cartons étaient érronées ("Deko" sur plus de la moitié des cartons !), ce qui nous a fait perdre du temps considérable un fois le container déballé pour retrouver des affaires et pour placer les cartons dans les pièces de la maison correspondantes. Les vis et écrous d'un armoire ont été mis dans un autre carton (même venant d'une autre pièce) , ce qui fait qu'on les a retrouvés 3 jours après et on a dû faire revenir l'équipe CTZ pour le montage. Nous n'avons toujours pas retrouvé les étagères d'une commode. L'équipe n'était pas à l'écoute du client. - Il y a eu seulement un survey virtuel, qui s'est avéré plus qu'approximatif. Le collaborateur de Gosselin me demandait à moi d'estimer le nombre de cartons nécessaires (1 carton c'est combien de m3 ?), alors que ça devrait être son travail. Résultat, le volume total a été sous-estimé et nous avons dû laisser des choses en Suisse, ce qui nous a causé des frais importants (organiser un déménagement en Suisse, racheter des choses au Mozambique) et des désagréments à notre arrivée. - La collaboratrice était gentille, mais pas très efficace. L'information entre elle et l'équipe des déménageurs n'a pas passé, le chef de l'équipe a passé longtemps au téléphone pendant les jours d'emballage pour clarifier plusieurs questions, entre autre le transport des motos, de batteries, etc.etc. alors que toute l'information était disponible chez Gosselin. - CTZ Logisticos a envoyé une équipe bien organisée, relativement efficiente et avec assez de personnes pour le travail. Ils étaient gentils et disponibles, ils ont fait du bon travail, juste avant le week-end. Le back-office a été un peu chaotique mais efficace.

Les déménageurs étaient tous polis, respectueux et ponctuels. Hygiène personnelle un peu décevante en pensant qu'ils emballent vaisselle, linges, lit, etc .(lavage de mains au minimum...). Plusieurs objets cassés ou endommagés, mais ce ne sont pas de grandes valeurs. La réaction de Gosselin a été immédiate et professionnelle. Démontage et remontage pas par les mêmes déménageurs, ce qui a conduit à des erreurs lors du remontage des pieds de meubles et une perte de temps puisqu'il a fallu tout redémonter (il manquait un pied sur un meuble et on m'a suggéré d'acheter une cale pour combler cela. Alors qu'il s'agissait en fait des pieds d'un autre meuble et que le total était au final). Je n'avais pas pris de photo des pieds de meuble mais j'aurais du car cela aurait aider (peut s'avérer utile de le recommander aux clients pour aider le personnel).

Overall good service and I am satisfied. 2 comments: large time gap between pick up of goods at home (16th of August) and actual shipping (18th of September). Would have been nice if that would have been done sooner. And second is that 1 item was damaged. But in order to get reimbursement I got a lengthy email with steps I have to take, expert advice I had to get etc etc. I know there is of course a particular bar you have to reach to be eligible for reimbursement but this was too much. So we did not bother anymore.

Good service globally. BCC was late with the administrative support which delayed the delivery. On the day of the delivery they were 1 hour in advance than announced, which was a nice surprise. They could have left my place in a cleaner stage but I managed. - The pick up in 2 different places was very efficient. The removal teams were fantastic. The Gosselin representative arrived on my place on the date of the removal after the removers left. Hence, this visit (which was not announced) was not relevant.

I don't know who is referred to as the "sales representative" - The packing was well executed, except that many unrelated items were put together. There was no logic in the packing of items. Plus, a mistake was made in the papers at origin, which caused delays in the customs clearance procedure at destination. - BCC was very helpful and did not spare any effort in trying to fix the mistake that was made at origin, to get the container released from the port. However, on the day of the delivery, the container was delayed again, so the unpacking only started around noon. This was not compensated by an extra (half) day of work, so I had to unpack and put together around 30% of my stuff, which is not acceptable. - See all of the above comments. Also, after I filled in the initial survey to prepare my move, I was first contacted by the local moving company, and only WEEKS later by Gosselin (with information that was already completely outdated)... Ridiculous. - I don't think you really want to share my feedback and comments. - The container was shipped a month before the planned date, a mistake was made in the papers at origin, but only noticed once the container was at destination, which caused delays in the customs clearance procedure. I feel I haven't been properly informed about those developments, which were always portrayed as falling outside of the scope of responsibility of Gosselin. Many emails asking the local moving company for an update, without suggesting any solution, were more infuriating than helpful. The local moving company, my colleagues, and myself (living without any furniture for more than three weeks) were well aware of the urgency of the situation already. One would wonder why we need a coordinator if it is to provide such a service...

The coordination with Jill was very much appreciated, especially since the move was not without setbacks, yet she managed to keep track of everything and expedite the move anyway. Small piece of advice: might be nice to inform clients on how the products will be delivered (example: in wooden crates per ship or paper boxes per plane) to take it into account for storage purposes. - Very good service, they were very careful and made sure all our affairs were packed accordingly.

In addition to the above (see question 3), I was given the wrong information with regards to when my shipment would arrive. It ended up being released one month ahead of schedule, which complicated my planning and added additional stress. - Very nice team - Gosselin sub-contracted to another company, which seemed overworked (they had to do a second move after mine, which demanded a lot of effort, 5 stories with no elevator..) and not as professional as I would have expected. Please be careful to ensure good working conditions for subcontractors. The packing was not ideal (things packed without asking where they should go or informing where they were put). The contractor wanted me to sign all forms blank, which he would then fill in later. I had to insist not to do this. I had the impression the manager did not understand all the forms which were in English. There was also a lot of of packaging material used (too much at times), including a lot of plastic bubble wrap, which then has to be disposed of on arrival in countries that do not have the same waste management systems as Switzerland. Gosselin should make sure packaging is kept to what is needed to keep the goods safe but not overpacked, and to use more environmentally-friendly packaging materials. Finally, there were some small damages which occured during the move.

efficient but unloaded all clothes on the bed in complete disorder/chaos. started to put the books and items on shelves by themselves without asking in what order - Good packing in general except for a few items which thus arrived damaged: a standing lamp (broke the screw holding it from the stand) and 2 lamp shades that were compressed in boxes and thus damaged. also mixed all wires in various boxes away from the appliances they were supposed to power thus making it difficult to find them when needed while unpacking. also the screws of several furniture can't be found anymore and can't thus be set up back

Leider waren trotz meiner wiederholten Bitte, drei Tage für den Umzug/Einzug zu planen, nur zwei Tage geplant worden. Am 1. Tag kam die Equipe anstatt um 8.30h um 11h (aufgrund von Verzögerungen beim Import der Ware), am 2. Tag mussten sie um 16h gehen. Ich selbst habe zwei Tage lange praktisch ohne Pause Kisten ausgepackt (z.B. die ganze Küche)..... das war aber im Grunde nicht meine Aufgabe, und ich weiss nicht, wie lange es gedauert hätte, wenn die Equipe dies auch noch hätte tun müssen. Ausserdem schien es, dass der Einzugsort nicht im Voraus inspiziert worden war. Ein Lift, um die Ware von draussen in den 1. Stock unserer Whg zu transportieren, wurde erst nach einem halben Tag bestellt. Wenn der Lift von Beginn weg einsatzbereit gewesen wäre, hätte Zeit gespart werden können. Nach dem 2. Tag wollte die Equipe einfach gehen um 16h, obwohl 2 Schränke noch nicht aufgestellt waren und wir immer noch wahnsinnig viele Kisten hatten. Erst durch mein mehrmaliges Insistieren im Gosselin-Office (Simon Erdmann), schickten Sie uns die Leute für den dritten Tag. Aus meiner Sicht hätte das besser laufen können, wenn Sie von Anfang an anerkannt hätten, dass unser Umzug drei Tage dauern würde, wie ich es Ihnen von Beginn weg gesagt hatte (und zwar aufgrund von Erfahrung, das war ja nicht mein erster Umzug, sondern mein 4. internationaler Umzug). Ich war nicht sehr zufrieden mit dieser Situation. Insgesamt fanden wir auch die Anzahl Leute sehr knapp bemessen für diesen Umzug (am 1. Tag 4 pax, am 2. Tag 3 pax, am 3. Tag 2 pax). - Verstehe die Frage nicht ganz, trifft nicht auf mich zu.... - Hervorragende Dienstleistung durch die Firma in Bogota, von der Vorbereitung des Umzugs bis zum Packteam während des Umzugs. - Neben Manuela Schwaller hatte ich (in ihrer Ferienabwesenheit) auch mit Simon Erdmann und Emilie Betis-Cosson zu tun. Alle drei waren sehr disponibel, lösungsorientiert und freundlich. Zudem haben Sie bei uns zwei Wochen nach dem Einzug ausnahmsweise noch Verpackmaterial und Kisten abgeholt (es war wirklich noch viel....) - das habe ich sehr geschätzt. Vielen Dank!

Overall I was very pleased with my move experience. The crew was pleasant, hardworking and moved our items quickly but also skillfully. They helpfully planned a move so that we could sleep in the new residence the first night and finish moving the items on the second day. My only complaint with the move was some scratching of the floor in the apartment we moved out of - Moserstrasse 33 which we noted in the move documentation.

Prior to pick-up, I specifically asked to foresee a box for a bicycle and for a mattress since it was impossible for me to take these large boxes when picking up packing material. This was confirmed, however on the day of the pick-up, these boxes were not present. The mattress was just put loose in the truck, the bike was strapped to the side of the truck with a blanket over it. Upon arrival in Germany, I've noticed that the rear reflector was broken. - I spoke in total with three different people from Gosselin, the three of them were aware of the bike and mattress however it was still not possible to arrange for the correct boxes on the day of the move. I know this is a 'light package' as a move, but I asked more than once prior to the pick-up to have the right equipment. It would have been better if I had been informed that the boxes would not be brought by the movers. That way I could have prepared something myself. - I fairly dissapointed because of the difference between the first contacts and the way everything was handled in the end. I am very curious to see the invoice that will be sent to Belgian Defense for this move...

Goesselin performed very well. Only thing was that several smaller items very accidentally not packed in Tansania. However I appreciate very much that Goesselin was ready to cover the costs for the non packed items. - Some items were left behind so it seems no thorough check was done at the end of the move. - The performance of all staff was very good, there were just quite a lot of changes in staff I the last 2 months because of different absences. But overall the replacement worked smoothly.

The packing and loading service was absolutely prudent, the staff ensured an overall excellent process. - Information about the removal process and the handling on site often only came upon request. As the conditions on site had not been inspected beforehand, there were problems with the arrival and unloading of 3 vehicles. Unfortunately, only 3 people were assigned to the move, but they did their best to make the move appear successful in the end. We would like to express our appreciation for the service and performance of these three Georgian employees and their 4th colleague who came to help at the end ! - Realistic planning.

See comments wrt sales rep - actions like this do not bode well to gain a client's trust. - The sales representative was in and out within a couple of minutes, hardly asked any questions, and fully underestimated the total volume and the type of cargo (sensitive art was not note beforehand and thus the correct packaging materials were not used). I can imagine that the total cost was underestimated as well as such, which is convenient as this was a tender offer. The packers handled the situation very well but were equally irritated of the fact that they were not well prepared for the packing. Instead of 2-3 hours, they spent at least 8 hours to pack everything.

Moving team was friendly, efficient and very quick - Two of the boxes were damaged quite badly and it was clear that the one box was repacked in the process, which is a bit concerning. - Lisa was very friendly and helpful but didn't mention that she would be going on leave so when I sent the final list there was nobody to assist and Steven and Anika had to step in to provide an ad-hoc solution.Once I spoke to Anika things were arranged for collection and it went smoothly from there. Tonnie also helped a great deal once the collection was made.

Shana was very kind but there was some confusion at the time of packing in Brussels with her collegue, Steven Molloy. He had badly estimated the total amount of our things to be moved, therefore the company charged us 700€ for the supplement. However, I must tell we were surprised the way the men packed our stuf, not using the empty spaces. A friend of mine used another company and she explained how the guys had really worked on tighting her things in order to use as less space as possible (they even hed to do it twice): this was not at all the attitude of the Gosselain movers in Brussels. So I put 5 stars to Shana who did her job but I am not happy with Steven's estimate and the packer's work. Because of that, I won't use Gosselain another time and will ask my friend for her company (which was different). - One of our furniture, a big metal case with drawers was damage on a side (a wheel is now broken). I don't know at what stage this damage occured. But the guys behaviour during delivery was perfect, very nice. They arrived on time, they were communicative and quick. - If you use Gosselain and you are not alone and tired to manage the situation: watch the way they are packing your stuff in order to minimize space and avoid paying more! Make them use space between table legs, fill more the cardboard boxes and ask them to pack the truck again if they used too much space. That's what we should have done!

After the issue that my shipment was late by 6 weeks was escalated, Christian continuously asked for updates from Oman to ensure that progress was restarted and continued. Prior to escalation, I did not receive any communications on my shipment, despite requests. - I was not given critical instruction to complete my move post survey. I was not told about COI requirements or any Customs Tax relief requirements. I found out this information through somebody else who was receiving a similar service, right before my shipment was to be collected. Since the UK requires 15 working days to process Tax relief requests, this delayed the dispatch of my shipment by 3 weeks. I booked my shipment months in advance. Had the information been provided to me during my survey, there would have been no delays. After the customs tax relief was approved by HMRC, there was a further 4 week delay before the shipment was even dispatched from America, leaving me without my belongings for 7 weeks and much of it needed to be replaced. - Crown movers were friendly and efficient when they came to collect my belongings. However, my shipment was held in Crown for 7 weeks before dispatch. - After escalation, and my shipment finally arrived in Belfast, Batsu ensured that it was delivered promptly after clearance. Batsu was the most communicative representative throughout the process. - This service was poor from start to finish. I wasn't given the critical instruction on certificates of insurance or customs tax relief. I booked my shipment months in advance, this could have been rectified. But it was me who discovered the flaw through another customer and I had to rectify it while the movers were in my apartment. This caused a 3 week delay due to HMRC clearance times. After this, my shipment was inexplicably held in the USA for a further 4 weeks, with absolutely no communication. My requests for updates were ignored or panned off until I escalated through my company. Overall, my shipment was not received until 7 weeks after it was collected, and a lot of the items needed to be replaced. Furthermore, there was xero compensation available for the delays.

Many items have been damaged during the unloading and unpacking. Three tables damaged, one seriously broken. Also the newly-painted walls of the apartment damaged in the process. Appalling careless service. Workers in a hurry, external lift 6 hours late. - I performed the major part of the packing myself prior to the arrival of the team. Even with that, they hardly managed in two days and did not take out the garbage. - No prior check of the destination address was performed, due to which the external lift provided could not reach the 7th floor, which delayed the move by 6 hours and caused the team's extreme hurry and carelessness.

LogPro proved to be a reliable and thorough partner during the unloading of our removal goods, as well as for the (free of charge!) follow-up on their side when a closet, that was built up by their workers, collapsed a few days later. Despite the incident, we were satisfied with the service provided. The relation with the sales office leaves however mixed feelings. We had two exchanges about extra requests that had to be charged separately. Once I asked them to deliver 5 cardboard boxes. LogPro asked for 75 USD (!), so we kindly refused, but LogPro came back to usand offered to deliver the boxes free of charge. We had later a similar experience when inquiring about the price for a storage room, when the prices between the first and second quote grew considerably without reasonable explanation. As we inquired about the price difference, LogPro re-submitted the offer and apologized for the mistake. These episodes might just be caused by lapsuses, but they throw a shadow on a professional relation that has been, overall, satisfying. - The overall working relationship with our coordinator was good: Ms Schwaller was always very responsive and competent. The damage claim section however needed prompting to move forward with our case, which was not what we had experienced so far with other employees of Gosselin. Our case nevertheless was handled correctly, and the insured amount has been disbursed as agreed. - We would be happy to work with her again.

It's not a 10, because we had some confusion about the necessary import tax to be paid (which in the end was not necessary at all). And Gosselin promised to come and pick up the packaging material later, but I have never heard back from them, so I had to discard of all the materials myself. - The moving crew was late because of a previous customer who was late, they could not be blamed for it. They were polite, and efficient. I offered to do the unpacking myself, I think they were grateful for it. - The requests for paperwork were a little bit confusing, and I was not happy with the excessive use of packaging materials. Too much plastic, too much bubble cardboard wrap, and too much paper inside the boxes for wrapping glasses etc. Also the use of cellotape to wrap up glasses and plates was a very time consuming thing to unwrap. On the other side, everything arrived in one piece, so that was good. - I'm not sure what you mean by sales rep. Is that Africa Move in Dakar?

See feedback on the Gosselin Brussels / unpacking and assembly team. - In terms of the unpacking and unloading in Brussels, my impression (compared to my previous moves with Gosselin) is that I was dealing with a B or even C team. Besides the main mover, the three other movers seemed inexperienced, did not listen to my feedback/guidance and assembled furniture incorrectly. I was not positive about my experience with this team and would not want them working on another move of mine, in the future.

Impressive and well handled, though we have not unbox some of the boxes, i can say all that have been unboxed were carefully handled and transported. The pick-off and drop-off were stress-free and wonderful. Kudos to the team. There was my assumption of a late arrival of the items but listening to Sara Piselli on the subject improved my understanding. The items were then delivered as agreed, in addition, i got a credit note gift. I will recommend GOSSELIN at any time for cross country move, thanks. - That was a wonderful experience, though she did not give me the discount i asked for (Laugh - that was on a lighter note). - Highly recommended - Andrea was very cordial and professional. He/She responds to enquiries and provide guidelines when asked. At a point, there was a breakdown in communication as to the status of my item whether i need a ToR or not. Not until i asked before approval for my ToR exclusion was gotten. Probably it would have taken a longer time if i had not asked. Inclined to give a 6, on one side the the moving crew on both ends were very efficient and quick, helped a lot and could communicate well enough. However the aforementioned confusions were not making us feel very confident throughout the process. - To be candid, it's not wholly on Petr but also on his colleague but overall the communication was very frustrating. 1) Prior to our departure his colleague assured us everything was okay with regards to the elevator that unfortunately broke down and then suddenly last minute changed it and wanted to either adjust the date (which was not possible as our key handover was the next day). This forced us to find outside help all day 2) As we arrived ourselves in the Netherlands on the night of the 14th August, we were told that the delivery would be on the 17th instead of the 15th, so we decided to take it slow and were not in town. Unfortunately the next morning we were called by the person moving our things that he was there, we had to rush to Rotterdam to make this work.

Allerdings war ich erstaunt, dass nur gerade 2 Personen den ganzen Entlad und das Auspacken erledigen müssen. Wir haben so gut es ging geholfen, eine zusätzliche Person würde hier sicher entlasten. - Tolles Team, pünktlich, gut organisiert, sehr gut eingepackt. - Herr Erdmann hat sich immer wieder nach dem Stand der Dinge erkundigt und seine Hilfe angeboten, sofern gewünscht und nötig.

Overall, it was a seemless and wonderful experience have been moved by Gosselin! - I was not informed that e bike is not allowed to be transported. In the material I got there was a possibility to take a bike, but it was not specified that ebikes are forbitten to take. My bike accessories (helmet, locker) have been already packed and in the end I got know that e bike is not allowed to be transported which had an influence for my further plans.

No English . Bad packing of the goods . We experienced damage to our wardrobe to the extent that the unpacking crew in Paris was not able to put it back together and we had to destroy the wardrobe . Pillows were put straight into a cardboard box without wrapping first in paper , etc... - Very professional , polite and helpful - Damaged goods forcing us now to buy a new wardrobe in an expensive city . So besides the inconvenience of not being able to unpack our clothes ( no wardrobe ) we will also face another inconvenience of another crew entering the flat to install a new wardrobe . No reply from the insurance company yet . Our previous international moves with Gosselin all went fine but this one did not go well at all ?

Things to improve: - more accurate inventory written on the boxes (origin) - keep all items of the same set together (origin) - better preparation of the crew (destination) - better consideration of personal safety (destination) - The team at destination consisted of 3. The only tool they brought to open the crates was a claw hammer. This proved to be the wrong tool to open them, which made me go to a hardware store to buy a flat pry bar (for which they reimbursed me). Because of this, a lot of time was lost. With regards to safety, I was surprised to see they were not wearing safety shoes. The flatbed truck was quite high and the boxes had to be unloaded on a hand truck via a very steep ramp. On occasion, this created dangerous situations. - The team was friendly and worked hard. However, when unpacking we noticed that the inventory written on the boxes was often not accurate, which made it hard to unpack the boxes in an orderly fashion. For example: one box had written "clothes" on it, but it only had one clothing item in it. All other items were remote controls, cables, and a gaming console. Furthermore, different pieces belonging to the same set were often packed in different boxes. This, in combination with the first remark, made it hard to find all necessary pieces to reassemble these sets. - Nice person, but the volume estimate could have been more accurate - Jill is always available and very flexible. You really need to work on your communication on this side of the move. I am very concerned about not discovering all damage, especially given that we were not able to unpack during one day of the long weekend, and were blind-sided by the short timeline. - The movers themselves were great, top marks. I had issues with Harriet: communication was inconsistent, I had to communicate and confirm my preferred date multiple times, and was still offered a date that I had said absolutely did not work for us. I have also been given three different timelines for reporting damage, each one further from the move, and successively shorter. On Monday I was told 30 days, on Tuesday I was told fifteen days from receipt of a form, and today I was told SEVEN DAYS from move, meaning TOMORROW.

MoveOne does not provide any service in Djibouti but sub contracts to Ougoul Transit. It took them ten days to arrange transfer of the container from the harbor to my place, and there was obviously more furniture to be assembled than what they had expected. There is room for improvement of communication at least! Everything went OK with the Ougoul team. I eventually got all my stuff in good shape, and they turned out to be very helpful.

Perhaps we should be careful about involuntarily participating in the exploitation of workers within the European Union. - Good & friendly communication during the process.

I would have preferred a representative from Gosselin for the surveying at the beginning (like in the past Mr. Premereur). It became obvious that the subcontractor did not have the full picture and was not from Gosselin. Before Mr. Boiko took over, I sometimes did not feel fully accompanied in the early stage of the removal planning and the service was not personalised as such. However, my overall impression is good and I know that Gosselin is a huge company. - good service and management of the overall removal process which included also warehouse handling - see Nr. 4 - I am a civil servant and prefer my name not to be published. However, I regularly do mouth to ear promotion for Gosselin in my organisation. I have moved several times already and will continue to choose Gosselin in future. - very timely reaction to questions and issues, good knowledge of the removal process and its different elements which need to be combined.

The movers are in both companies great! - you need a US number to have a delivery. They promise to call you the day before, they don't. They react on a mail after 5-7days (most of the time). - he estimated the m³ as 28, but apparently it is without packing. Overall, it was a good experience and, if necessary I would use them again. - The liaison prior to the delivery was good although I did seem to be asked questions that should not have been required as the answers had already been given. The additional fee of 240 EUR for the moving of my jukebox was not earnt as no extra work was required to move it. It was wheeled to the lift, and wheeled out of the lift. Other than that the handlers did a good job. I still do not understand why I had to pay an extra 60 EUR for storage at the docks something which I had no control of. - This would have been excellent if they had met their 4 - 6 weeks estimate. The prior removal service was excellent, and the actual day of packing my belongings and removal of it was well orchestrated. The handlers of both my juke box and the remaining belongings was first class. - He was always available to answer questions as to the move, giving frank and honest answers. Therefore, I always felt well supported. However, he did forget my change of e-mail address to mickhughes534@gmail.com which meant this survey was delayed.

Comme je l'ai indiqué par mail, j'ai regretté que les informations sur la question des assurances et de la responsabilité ne soient ni communiquées spontanément dès le départ, ni très rigoureuses par rapport aux questions posées. - Expérience mitigée avec la bureaucratie centrale, mais très bonne avec l'équipe de déménagement. D'où une note moyenne de 5. - Très bonne équipe, compétente et sympathique, et bon team leader, à l'écoute et qui a été capable de rédoudre les problèmes qui se sont posés. - La visite en elle-même s'est bien passée, mais le suivi a été laborieux: absence de réponse aux mails, communication à mon avis confuse et absence de prise en compte d'un élément très important signalé pendant la visite: la nécessité de ne pas appuyer le monte-charge sur le balcon, vu les risques très graves entraînés par cela lors de précédents déménagements et que j'ai clairement exposés lors de la visite. Heureusement le jour du déménagement l'équipe a trouvé un système D, mais elle n'avait été prévue de rien. De plus ils n'avaient pas le monte-charge correspondant aux nécessités du lieu, de sorte qu'ils ont dû en faire venir un autre, ce qui heureusement a pu se faire mais a retardé tout le processus.

I just got the delivery 10 days ago. The delivery company charged me USD 425 extra as attached. $75 for Elevator fee $350 for shuttle service: they claimed that big trucks are not suitable for shuttle service. So they drove a small truck to my apartment. I was presented with this quotation by the driver at delivery. I'm not sure if that was discussed/agreed with you. However, I had no choice but to pay for it. And the whole process took almost 6 months, from door to door (from Amsterdam to my new home in California).

My experience with Gosselin was one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. We will never, ever forget the (4) months that Gosselin froze our personal belongings, while we moved to a new country and kids started school. I had to purchase thousands of Euro's in items to get through this, but mostly we just had to live without our things, which was a huge strain on my family. I think Gosselin is a cruel and unethical company - probably criminal as well given what I have seen from the leadership. I do understand you were having payment disputes, but my company had offered to settle our portion back in February to release our goods. Gosselin refused and we all ultimately lost (3) months - my family was denied our personal belongings and Gosselin lost (3) months where they could have had cash in their pockets... all of this was completely pointless and solved absolutely nothing for Gosselin receiving their overdue debts. There are other ways to collect on overdue debt that do not require messing with people's lives. - Very Good - Dominique and Julie were exceptional - Yes please share the "overall impression" section on your website and social media channels. the shipment of the second part was managed very efficiently by mr Cuhls - good and friendly staff but the charge for the piano was excessive as there was no speciality team on arrival. Quick and effective, flexible to arrange the time of delivery. - I was also very pleased to deal with Claudia, who was competent and flexible and helped me find the most effective arrangement for my double move. The only remarks I would have are on the packing, which seemed to take much more space than necessary. Boxes were often filled only at half of their capacity and this meant that items inside were not firm enough. As a result one cup got broken and another damaged. - We had a virtual survey, not an in person one - It has been a real pleasure working with Emilie. She has been present and attentive, always responsive and helpful. I have never had such a stress-free move before.

Very responsive and helpful, all topis were in line with schedule w/out any surprises and communicated well in advance - Team open to support and communicative. We had a situation that some of electronical devices were packed by mistake, but Gosselin Team in Poland immediately helped, checked the boxes and returned it.

As explained in question 4 my dealings with Gosselin Switzerland were great and faultless but Australien OSS was certainly not smooth. I am glad though customs eventually agreed to accept the German death certificate as otherwise it would have delayed things by quite a few weeks. Why I paid A$352 estate tax is to me not clear and how this was calculated - My dealings in Australia with OSS World did not go smoothly as there were delays with paid moneys from my side and although paid it took several days to be cleared which led to the shipment needing to be stored as I was then not available. Also on day of delivery (2 hours before scheduled delivery) I received an email with outstanding bills (estate tax and customs bills). No phone call and I was told previously that shipment was cleared as it was in OSS storage facility. For over 2 weeks I did not hear anything and then OSS representative (Amy Higgins) told me she received overnight a bill from customs that bills were outstanding. Another issue was Australian customs needed death certificate from my father and needed it translated in English (I did not think I needed one and had only one in German) This delayed things and then they agreed with me writing in English that my father passed away and me supplying German death certificate. However, I still paid 352 A$ estate fees literally 2 hours before shipment arrived which I was not aware of previously...This I felt was less than professional but had nothing to do with my Swiss experience of Gosselin. - I dealt with several people from Gosselin Switzerland mostly by phone apart apart from initial sales representative and pick up.It was throughout a pleasant experience! - Massimo Calabrese was very friendly attentive, and professional. He was clear and responsive to all my questions. Great!!!
