A Gosselin project from start to finish

Gosselin won the tender for the assignment of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs wanting to provide the German embassy in Tbilisi with new furniture. It resulted in great teamwork between John and Gabriel.

“The entire move was completed with five trucks containing  more than 350 cubic meters of office furniture that came from  Germany, where Gabriel Duch handled the trucking,” Regional Manager John Braeckeveldt explains. “Gosselin Georgia took care of the delivery and customs paperwork.” It wasn’t the first time both offices worked together even though the Berlin branch is relatively new. A previous move from Tbilisi to Bishkek had extra cargo coming from Germany that was consolidated with the main load in Tbilisi before being forwarded to its destination.

Despite previous collaborative efforts, this was the first order from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and one that made Gabriel very happy. “It wasn’t a huge job, but it’s a sign that Gosselin has arrived in Germany.  I believe in that kind of energy! We’ve done work for the German embassy before but previously only worked with agents. Now that there’s an office in Berlin, we can offer the full Gosselin service from start to finish with our own customs-bonded warehouses and trucks.”

Gosselin Belgium receives FIDI Top Performer status

After the Italian and UK office receiving the FAIM 22 Top Performer status, it was Belgium’s turn for a FIDI audit. With Belgium not only having multiple offices in Deurne and Vilvoorde, but also their own warehouses and rolling stock, the audit was extensive but successful nevertheless.
International work experience

An international work experience

With Gosselin offices all over Europe, it’s almost impossible to know everybody. However, an international working experience can be the perfect way to get acquainted with colleagues from different countries. Roberta and Patrizio from the Italian office did just that, taking the opportunity to network and brainstorm work processes.
Road VS Rail transport

European Logistics goes Multi-modal!

Gosselin currently launched a new trial project combining the usual road transport with train groupage in Europe. It is the perfect combination between handling large volumes, less reloads, less damage risks, and focusing on sustainability at the same time.
