Gosselin Georgia receives AEO status

The Gosselin office in Georgia was recently awarded with the status of Authorized Economic Operator. They’re only the third company in Georgia with this status that comes with several advantages. Regional Manager, John Braeckeveldt, is pleased with the good news.

“Not only did we receive the Authorization to simplify the procedures of cleaning goods Status (AEOC), we also have the Authorization to simplify the customs control on the basis of the compliance with safety and security measurements Status (AEOS)”, John explains. the concept of Authorized Economic Operator is based on the partnership between customs and Gosselin; we receive the benefits as we are a trusted company and we work closely with customs to ensure safety of the international supply chain.

“Additionally, we benefit from fewer and faster custom control procedures. An extra logo will be added to our communication to vouch for our newly acquired status”, John concludes. Seeing as Gosselin Georgia handled 3000 customs declarations and 1000 temporary storage assignments in the past three years, these new statuses will only help the team of thirty people in offering an even quicker service which is beneficial to the end customer.
