Gosselin Italy receives FIDI Top Performer status

The Italian office recently received its third audit since its opening and once more passed with flying colors, receiving the FIDI Top Performer 2023 status. An impressive achievement, especially since there were additional requirements concerning cybersecurity, sustainability, and risk management.

Quality Manager Connie Reesink went to Rome to prepare the office for the upcoming audit and guide them through the process. “All the audits for FAIM 2023-2025 will be on site because FIDI wants to ascertain that their members are digitally proficient and can work as paperless as possible. From 2026 on, all new audits will be held remotely.”

The three new elements—cybersecurity, sustainability, and risk management—added to an already extensive process, but everything went smoothly thanks to solid teamwork. “Barbara works methodically and is very goal-oriented,” Connie recalls. “I only had to ask something once, and she handled it. It was an effortless collaboration despite not having worked together before.”

Country Manager Barbara Savelli is pleased herself as well. “Every audit is a team effort. Since this is our third audit, everybody knows what to do, and it doesn’t add stress to the daily activities. All the Italian team members handle the documentation according to the FIDI standards, and our private and corporate clients and worldwide partners recognize our strive for excellence and responsiveness targets.

Quality certification is being asked for more and more by corporate clients on RFPs. To make sure everything keeps running smoothly, team leader Andrea Cardelli performs regular file checks so everybody stays aware of the FIDI Requirements and they become an integral part of our processes. And it shows because the Rome office passed with 100% conformity!

About the audit:

The audit itself is a thorough check of every aspect of the company, going from corporate responsibility to quality management, training, and a file check. The FAIM 22 standard uses a total of 1475 non-compliant values as measurement indicators. A company can only be a Top Performer when they score 0 non-compliant values on the audit day itself. New since 2023 are a mandatory financial risk assessment and additional requirements on sustainability and cybersecurity.

Gosselin Belgium receives FIDI Top Performer status

After the Italian and UK office receiving the FAIM 22 Top Performer status, it was Belgium’s turn for a FIDI audit. With Belgium not only having multiple offices in Deurne and Vilvoorde, but also their own warehouses and rolling stock, the audit was extensive but successful nevertheless.
International work experience

An international work experience

With Gosselin offices all over Europe, it’s almost impossible to know everybody. However, an international working experience can be the perfect way to get acquainted with colleagues from different countries. Roberta and Patrizio from the Italian office did just that, taking the opportunity to network and brainstorm work processes.
